- Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
- Yes I would recommend this book. It’s a great blend of Magic and Science Fiction Magic in space and science fiction drama. Pirates, Unbending Bureaucracy, and the unstoppable inertia of both clashing.
- What other book might you compare Starship’s Mage Omnibus to and why?
- In a sense it’s not like any other book I’ve read. It’s a bit like the Force in Star Wars but magic.
- What does Jeffrey Kafer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
- I’m not sure what he brings to it. He reads the story well, and doesn’t get stupid with fake accents and over done voices. That can distract from the story if not done perfectly. I.E. a male doing an over the top female voice…It’s enough different to know it’s a different character. So good enough.
- Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
- Not that kind of story, so no extreme reaction.
- Any additional comments?
- It’s a very entertaining story that takes you on an adventure.
