OMG!!!!! this was the absolute WORST!!! Save your credit and time from your life. I should have stopped. I HATED the narrator he read as if he was on tranquilizers soooo slow it was horrible. Thought I’d adjust to the slowness of his read. NO!!!! And onto the story was absolutely the stupidest boring story..

Similarly to the self-righteous, yet infinitely more interesting Dreamland, this book is full of obnoxious, flowery platitudes followed immediately by judgmental language and terminology that conveys no compassion whatsoever. The author still calls addicts “junkies” most of the time, while acknowledging in other parts that terms like “junkie” are problematic. He still calls sex workers..
