It had so much potential but the writing was just terrible. Very repetitive and contradicting. Way too far fetched. Zero character development. It was honestly the worst book I read in a long time, not sure why it’s gotten so much hype lately. Don’t waste your time.

Too heavy for me. Loved the influencer and the imposter but this one too dark for me. Also there has to be a closer for this character .

The abuse of other people especially her own mother was awful. Last thing I want to listen to for pleasure.

Seems like it has a lot of similarities to ACOTAR and TOG .. not very original… the narrators are great though!

Accidentally skipped book 2 and only realized halfway through. At this point I was bored with their romance so I won’t go back. I love pirate stories and a woman pirate especially – but why is The Queen of Pirates still not a captain by the end of book 3 (4th in the series)?

The whole story is horrible. Could have been a lot better and had a better story line.

plot is completely absurd, the spiciness is mediocre and overall it was hard to listen. don’t recommend at all.
