This is a dreadful book and hard to listen to because of the soft-spoken narrator. it is just so boring; not at all what I expected. Elton John is one of my favorite performers of all time and I love almost all of his music. I paid near $1,000. equivalent US money to see him..
Expected more depth movie to movie. Spoke about specific persons as opposed to the movies and thus glossed over movies I would have liked to hear more about. But it was ok.

learned a lot. sometimes seemed that author talked about peripheral stuff because he came across it in research, not because it mattered. things a good editor should have caught sometimes hard to understand narrator.
