All of the books in this series are great, the book prior to this tends to be one of the hardest for people to push through because the floor Carl has to complete is a complex mystery, most people don’t realize that the author is NOT giving hints for the reader. This book however is just constant, fun, violent, and comical whimsy in a well crafted fantasy bubble. There’s still a goal for them that they’re trying to reach but you’re not racking your brain like the previous book trying to figure out what’s going on. You also meet pretty much all the major characters by the end of this book even if some aren’t that pronounced in the story.
