This story mostly focuses on Gabe and Josh’s relationship, as it strengthens and they become even more committed. There is a murder, a drug bust, and an ex that shows up to give them trouble. I enjoyed every minute with Gabe and Josh as they are comfortably committing to each other and having plenty of steamy times to boot. Just FYI, this book has a continuing plotline that isn’t finished, so it is a continuing arc into the next book of the series.
Again, Joel Leslie does Josh and Gabe’s banter well, and during their emotional conversations it is easy to distinguish between the two characters. He does various voice tones and accents for the secondary characters well, and is entertaining to listen to.
