4-stars, a solid novel series. A destroyed electrical grid and chaos reigns. A story like this makes one think about the possibilities and what would happen.

I assume it wouldn’t be much different than the picture Horton paints; a bleak and scary world for most of us. I thought this story was written well, the characters were believable, and their circumstances and situations were all too possible. Is this a little “prepper-crazy”? Probably, but maybe we should each be a little more like this.

I have already purchased books 4-6.
