I am hesitant and I will never leave a bad review however, some books resonate with you and some don’t. This author Amy Padilla writes very lovely descriptive stories. I was just not in love with the subject matter and the premise of the story I struggled with the storyline of an incubus who has to have sex in order to live or they will ““ starve to death. Like I said before this just did not resonate with me and unfortunately, it felt cheesy and I found myself rolling my eyes. A few times. I’m so sorry this was just not my cup of tea. I listened to the audio version of this book and as always, Joel Leslie is an absolutely amazing narrator. He has an astounding ability to vividly make the characters come to life.
