Amazing character development through clever use of letters and email. Sybil is a delightful character. She comes off as a snooty unhappy woman at the start of the book, but as we learn more about her, we have a better understanding of her character as we watch her develop new relationships, heal broken ones and accept the pleasures that come to her in her last years.
