First, I have the physical book, but I just had to listen to this on Audible because Jeff Hays – AMAZING. I can’t say anything more than what many others have said already, and I can’t fathom why it took me this long to finally read this book. Anyone who reads this will know this is no literary masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination (but, tell me, who really enjoys reading Moby Dick…really, who enjoys this book that wasn’t born in the early 1900’s???)
But this is a fun listen. I enjoy my LitRPGs, and I think even if you’re not into them or have never read one (and you don’t mind a little bit of blood and gore and foul language and mentions of…um…phallic shaped stuff) this could be a good start?
This is certainly not for everyone…or most people, but those who do enjoy this…really ENJOY it!
Okay, I’ll be plowing through these books so that I can get caught up and not have to worry about coming across spoilers in the subreddit.
