I don’t feel bad recommending a different book 1st because it’s from the same series and artist. Esper was possibly my favorite character from that series, so after finishing up Galaxy Outlaws, it was a treat seeing this pop up. I’m not all the way through this, in fact I just finished the 1st mission, however that was enough to know I’d love this. Most of the charecters of that series have already made small cameos, and I’m sure that’ll continue. But this story so far certainly stands on its own feet, with the cameos just being welcome nostalgia tidbits sprinkled in. You’ll enjoy this series great as a 1st intro to Black Ocean, but having already been through the story of the Mobius crew will absolutely make it a better experience. This nearly 100 hours is a GREAT way to spend a credit. You’ll enjoy yourself for sure. I may or may not get the story of Chuck Ramsey next. To be honest I really couldn’t stand Carl’s parents, so it’s not high up my list to listen to 100 hours of them, although… Mort. Hope this helps, this is a great series of stories!
