This is the first book in the series. I’ve heard a lot about this series and read one that is later in the series that was really enjoyable. It was a stand-alone book.
Thought I would try reading from the first book on. This one didn’t have the polished writing the other books had but still very creative. It was filled with lots of action and excitement. I gave it a three and a half stars, rounding up to four.
Narration-excellent!
