The author does a great job at keeping the story rolling with plenty of descriptions, without overdoing it. Many authors think that the more minute details they can add, the more complete story. Not true. There’s plenty of detail without bogging down the story. There’s also a great blend of action, intrigue and humor to keep the reader engrossed and wanting more.
Few books make me laugh out loud. These books do that, multiple times.
The main characters form a cohesive unit that are happy to show respect, until their moral line has been crossed. Then, they will will give you a punch to the face you’ll not soon forget. No one will regret giving this series a try.
