This was one of the books in my book clubs reading list and it was very hard to push through for me.
The narrators did a FANTASTIC job of acting, the story itself was hard to get into.
The writing felt a little lazy with name dropping brands and no real character development. it truly felt like a Fanfiction that was published.
The story building was fine to an extent and some of the little details like the pen always being in Samantha’s hair was a good. The Trauma description and response was also really good. It almost gave the feel that it should have turned into a psychological thriller rather than a romance.
When June turns 18 the writing starts to fill very rushed. unfortunately for me not a recommend.
