This book will stay with me for a long time. It moved me. I never knew I could connect so well with a 70 something year old woman but I did. I get her. She is complicated. She is full of trauma. She is stubborn and strong and sometimes unlikable. She is so real to me. Her pain lives with me. I’m writing a letter to my best friend today.
