Comments: Harrison Kone writes entertaining thrillers with likable characters. The two main protagonists, Shaw and Wyatt, are cool characters with tons of military and tactical skill. I’m looking forward to seeing what they get up to the other books. Kone excels in writing battle scenes and sprinkling in tactical gear. Ultimately, this is a revenge story, which the reader will be in support of, especially as the bad guys are fully fleshed out and revealed through the story. Jack Carr fans will love this book as well as Lions of Mercer (I reviewed Lions of Mercer as well). This is the first book in the series and I’ll absolutely be reading the rest of them. Also, the audiobook narrator did a fine job.
