I’m struggling with this story. I liked the first book pretty well. But this book has a strong focus on Farron, the least interesting character so far. And the love story between him and the FMC feels so unearned, I’m far more invested in Farron and Dayton. I appreciate that unlike the first audiobook, the male narrator reads the male lines in Rosalina’s chapters and vice versa- though a little annoyed it goes back to that format in book 3. The hardest thing is a plot-driving pet peeve…. The whole distance and sexual tension between her and Kel could be resolved in ONE conversation. Idk… I’ll finish book 3 bc why not? But it’s plentiful and explicit with spice if plot is secondary to you, so, there’s that.
