Okay after reading Dungeon Crawler Carl and having had fun with those books, this book is a welcome change. Matt Dinnamin is just a fount of ideas . His sense of humor is very much like mine. So the sarcastic humor and sill banter works well with my humor.
The characters Oliver and his sister Lulu and Roger the very sarcastic robot make a great team to save their world . With a dose a little Hard Rock from a little band on a far away planet.
But really the book holds up well as a stand alone. If he does plan on bringing these characters back, he still has some wiggle room.
I say it is worth the read.
