It’s not bad. But that’s all I can say about it. It’s not bad. I don’t think it does anything new, nor does it do anything better than its peers. The jokes are there, but not all that funny. The emotional story is there, but not really gripping. The action is there, but not all that intense.
Everything combines to create a tale with basic functionality, but no spark, much less a fire. If you like it, cool. Like I said, there’s nothing objectively bad about it, but nothing I found particularly good either. This overhyped ride sits squarely on the meridian of meh.
