Ths book is another ridiculously good entry in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series.

The performance is an easy 5 stars. Jeff Hays spoils us again.

The story is still excellent, but I’d put it at 4.5 stars instead of a perfect 5. It has the humor, violence, weirdness, heart, and constant chaos that make this series so addictive. My only small knock is that this one felt a little more focused on expanding the larger world and setting up bigger things, so a few parts did not hit quite as hard for me as the strongest moments in the series.

That said, I was hooked the whole way through. I laughed, I cared about the characters, and I immediately wanted the next book.

—Keep on going you might as well now.
