I don’t love that Anna is a full grown adult and is a bit of a mess. She has a job but everything else just seems all over the place. I also have a hard time with how mean Brody is initially and then quickly going from that to carting her around town daily. I guess the transitions really don’t do it for me. It seems like Anna is the pursuer too and that’s not my thing. Ultimately, I just don’t like these MC’s. I rolled my eyes so many times. The dialogue gets ridiculously cheesy at times. “I’m floating on my love for Brody”. Shoot me. Just do it right now.
