I just finished listening to book #2, and I’m happy to say the characters are still making a strong impression. Some of the descriptions of these wildly imaginative NPCs can be a bit hard to picture, which sometimes distracts me—so much so that I have to rewind and listen again. I don’t think this book was quite as amazing as the first one; it felt a bit like a palate cleanser. I have a feeling book 3 is going to be really exciting! I especially loved the ending of this one and can’t wait to see what happens on floor 4.
