The story began with an intriguing and charming premise. However, the protagonist came across as a self-centered and entitled character. She constantly belittled other women and made comparisons to them. While I appreciate the concept of the story, I found the main character to be quite annoying and unlikeable. Although I’ve enjoyed other books by the author, this particular work didn’t quite live up to her previous work.
