This book is riddled with inconsistencies, so much so that it made it hard to enjoy the book. Not sure is this book was self edited or the editor was inexperienced but it shouldn’t have this many glaring mistakes. For example the MMC has a mansion almost 3/4’s the book, but then in the last several chapters they say apartment yet still describe scenes inside the rooms of the mansion. Other times the MMC and MFC are in intimate situations where they is no physical way for him or her to whisper in an ear… Or they need additional hands to accomplish what’s happening .
The MFC is almost on a Bella Swan level of annoying. She is a total doormat. Instead of reacting in real wold ways to real life issues she makes childish decisions and behaves in a way they makes her unlikable to readers.
MMC starts out stoic and detached. Treats her like a common prostitute, he even tells her he plans to treat her so. There is not enough narrative time with him to even develop him as a solid character so he ends up feeling one dimensional. Without any insight into his true feelings, background or past experiences all of a sudden he is the white knight in her life.
This book is not worth the time or money.
