It may have taken awhile to fully grasp my attention (and heart), however when it did – it gave me all the feels and touched my soul in a deep and meaningful way. I found myself smiling brightly so many times throughout the uniquely presented (and brilliant) story of Sylvan life.

I also saw parts of myself in her motherhood journey. I know most of us are doing our absolute best and sometimes that doesn’t feel like enough or that we are failing even when we have bright, kind, intelligent and beautiful children. Life’s burdens brings on challenges and we can’t always protect them from. I also thought so much about my own mother and our relationship.

This story really touched my soul and I cried many times throughout and I will likely pick it up again for a listen. It was that touching.
