The book that almost wasn’t….

I started this book on a long drive and did not intend to finish it. However – stopping was inconvenient and a half hour later the hook was firmly set and I couldn’t put it down.

Personalities are delightfully presented complete with the realistic frictions familiar to any extended family.

Voice acting gets special mention- each part added so much realism to the story right down to the intentional mispronounced “Mary-land” from the protagonist’s Scottish sister.

A masterpiece- and so glad I persevered.
