I tried. After book 1, I can’t continue. The voice is annoying to begin with, but the narrator’s random screaming is really bad. On top of that the author’s love of stat sheets gets annoying. Yes, I can skip it, but it’s still padding and lazy writing. Also, the constant “Gandalf” crap really got on my nerves. I really don’t see why people love this series, but more power to them.
