The plot was good. The character development was great. No irritating blood and guts or endless sexual tension between characters. I couldn’t finish the 3rd book though. The battle scenarios are so cringy it seems the author has no real world experience in combat, weapons, or ballistics. Rifle rounds pinging off the side of an RV? Endless ammo. Laying down their weapons and surrendering when they clearly have the tactical advantage. The characters are constantly being kidnapped, snuck up on, ambushed. Completely unrealistic to the point of being annoying.
