This is the 5th book in the Leafy Hollow series. In this installment, winter has hit Leafy Hollow with a vengeance, leaving our heroine, Verity Hawkes’ landscaping business at a standstill. When suspicions arise around a high stakes crossword competition, Verity turns private detective as she searches for answers to the mystery.
This is a very cute and enjoyable series. Leafy Hollow is a quaint little town filled with interesting characters. Twists and turns keep you engaged and guessing until the final reveal.
Peatra Burchard is a terrific narrator and a spot on choice for this book.
