Love the series but this particular book is so hard to get through, every chapter blends into the next. I’ve fallen asleep listening and couldn’t, for the life of me, figure out where I left off because no chapter is really any different from the last. “Oh no we have a race, let’s prepare, but there’s no way we’ll make it! Oh great we made it…oh no there’s another race, oh great we made it! Oh no another race, we made it again…Race, scared about race, another race, scared about race, another race.” This could’ve all be 5-10 chapters in a book about multiple floors. Feels like the author was scraping the bottom of the pot for scraps to keep us fed while he figured out what comes next.
