This book was recommended to me after having seen Cynthia Erivo play the one woman Dracula in London. I said I was disappointed because she was not very good at switching characters and creating distinct characters. A friend I was telling that to said oh you gotta hear Jeff Hayes read this book. He was right he was so hard to believe I had to also go to YouTube and see a clip of him doing a reading. Because it was really hard to believe he was doing all the voices. Really, really entertaining, sometimes a little sophomore in the grossness, but I think that comes with the territory of a D&D dungeon style crawl story. That said, I also agree with people who say that this transcends being a kind of genre book and it is just a good story. Goddamnit doughnut.
