I enjoyed this story. It fits the vibe of a slice of life, calm, training arc style story. There’s not a whole lot of life and death situations in this book, and I strongly disagree with one review that commented about child abuse. This story is about a grown adult reincarnating into a child’s body, and while his circumstances are not ideal for the typical child’s development, I do not think typical development can be applied in this case.
I do wish I could see more independent struggle from the MC rather than being carefully monitored and trained by others. Hopefully, this is just a prolonged introduction into a more action packed story.
