I simply love how this “transported into a game” style of book is written. A lot of these types of books power scale the main character a lot and way too fast. They make it so the MC always wins and plot armor gets too strong. In this series, the author balances the necessary plot armor for a MC really well and keeping things realistic with a lot of cases of unfortunate events beyond a normal persons control. It makes the characters more relatable. Their energy, motivations, emotions, and tribulations are relatable and keep you hooked. If you haven’t read this series, you really should. This review really needs to be on the first book I think. Oh well. Would really love to hear carls “catchphrase” one more time though!!
