The performers did a fine job. That’s the best thing I can say about this book.
I didn’t like at all that it was just an endless stream of letters and emails being read – complete with the annoying date, address and time (of emails) and the infuriating “Re, Re, Re (subject).”
The main character is quite unlikable – very smug, arrogant and self righteous. The things she penned – her life experiences, opinions, attitudes – were either infuriating or boring, but mostly boring.
I do not recommend this book and only finished it because I was hoping it would improve and become worthy of the time I gave it. It did not.
