Philippa sees spirit guides after getting really sick with a high fever as an 8yr old kid. Her family thinks she is delusional or has brain damage. She is told by the spirits she has to deliver messages to people from the dead. She does this to the best of her ability but many people don’t take it well, think she is fraud or con artist. She has few friends because of this.

All Philippa wants is to find her true love and have a family but because of her bizarre ability/curse she is still alone in her 30’s.

The book is clean story with depth regarding life/afterlife and how our actions affect others. It promotes doing the right thing, being kind and caring for others. I really enjoyed the spirit guide Bertram and how his story was woven in to the story of Philippa and Richard looking for true love.
