I was looking forward to this book since I loved Nocticadia and Nightshade. The flashbacks to Solange were extremely difficult to read. They made me physically sick to my stomach due to him being a minor and clearly being taken advantage of. Hearing him reflect back on it as an adult and say that he consented was shocking since he verbally refused in those scenes and wanted to be let go. The other scenes with the FMC were fine but their story felt underdeveloped. Her aunt was the best part of this book and always made me laugh. She reminded me of my own aunt.
