I’ve always loved this series, but listening to the audiobook boxset brought these stories to life in a whole new way! It honestly made me want to go back and re-read all of Piper James’s books again.
Even though I don’t understand football in the slightest, I had so much fun with all of the cute football puns sprinkled throughout the series. And the prank wars? Absolutely the best! 🤣
Each couple was so easy to root for. Riggs and Tessa’s story starts with young puppy love, then grows into something truly beautiful (and seriously hot 🔥) after life throws them a major curveball. Then there’s Miles and Roxy, whose friends-to-lovers romance is equal parts sweet, silly, and spicy. Miles is the swoon-worthy goofy all-star with a panty-dropping smile, while Roxy is a fiery, stubborn goddess with a heart of gold. Watching her slowly realize her feelings for him was so much fun, and that scene where Miles says those “three little words”? I about died! 🤣 And don’t even get me started on that epilogue. I want video footage! 🤣🤣
Finally, Hadley and Foster completely stole my heart. Hadley is the sweetest ever, and it hurt seeing how little she believed in herself. Foster was exactly what she needed, helping her see just how worthy, beautiful, and special she truly is. In return, Hadley showed Foster that he deserved love too. Their relationship was incredibly touching, and I also appreciated how Piper James handled Hadley’s virginity. The spice was fantastic 🔥, and I loved that she showed losing your virginity doesn’t have to be painful. That’s something I wish more books portrayed.
One of my favorite things about this series is the friend group. The side characters are amazing, and getting to watch them all find their happily ever after made the entire series even more enjoyable. I especially adored Miles from the very beginning because he’s freaking hilarious! 🤣
Piper James truly has a gift with words. Every time I pick up one of her books or press play on one of her audiobooks, I get completely lost in her stories and forget the outside world exists. If you haven’t read or listened to this series yet, do yourself a favor and do it. Then go read all of her books! ♡♡
