The books of this series combine horror and humor in ways I’d never have imagined possible. But Jeff Hays is a wonder. When I get into a new long series I usually buy both the book and the audio book. I can’t bring myself to do that this time. I do not want to miss a word of Hays’ performance. He makes me spit out coffee in laughter and ugly cry. His vocal range is ridiculous. I am in awe.
