I REALLY want to like this series, I truly do! But the insertion of all of the background noises makes it more like listening to a movie than a book. Some people may enjoy this, I do not.
It is especially annoying since Jeff Hays was doing such a phenomenal job in the first few books without all of the hullabaloo!
Not to mention that the MC refuses to grow & mature.
My main issue is that the r*ping is still occurring & even worse than that is that the author insists on glorifying it every chance he gets. It’s disgusting & unnecessary for the overall plot!!
I’m moving onto something else for a bit so I can have a break from everything nasty this series has turned into. Hopefully when I return to this series the author will have matured so the MC can as well…
