I am a seasoned fantasy reader. Tolkien, David and Leah Eddings, Michael Morecock, Ursula K Le Guin, Stephen R Donaldson, Terry Pratchet etc… so I’m sitting here pretty surprised that this is my favorite book series of all time, and by a sizable margin. And this one… man it’s impressive the range of emotions it’s made me feel. Dinniman has made something truly special with these books. Additionally, Jeff Hays is probably the first voice actor I’ve preferred to the voices I give characters in my head.
