While the first book wasn’t bad. it felt like something was missing. And now that we have a real second character in the form of alice. It clicked While Crystal was funny I found her lacking in terms of a main character. Then Alice joined and there dialogue and dynamic became a more fun and interesting listen. Obviously the best part of the series is throwing magical girls into alternate dimension where they are out of placed. This setting was way more interesting then the last book as well. One last thing the narration was just as good. Overall a huge improvement and I am excited for the third book.
