this may be rather limited in appeal to just fans of Inception, but I thought there was some excellent insights sprinkled throughout the essays. some essays are not as inspired as others admittedly but there is a good overview of various philosophical “fields”. I enjoyed it, though I did listen in small segments and spread it out amongst other books, and it may be that returning to the essays helped keep them from getting too dry. I think Inception is one of the most thought provoking and amazing films of recent times and lends itself to revisiting time and again for new perspectives like a great novel. I have my interpretation of what I think is going on, but you may have quite another, and while many of these essays don’t “solve” the film, they do add to my thoughts. some essays are better than others and some readers are better, but overall i found it very interesting.
