While I liked the book and Jeff Hays did a wonderful job performing the different characters, I felt the ending left somewhat to be desired. Honestly if he was ending it like this I felt the fourth book in the last arc would have been a better stopping point. He gains power to fight the girl from the last book and then gives the power he’s gained up again. Then the hot woman Alex the great were, turns from devoted love slave to pretty much becoming a pacifist and abandoning the fight with him after a couple days away. And I don’t think the author ever explained how she was able to remember him even though all the divine and humans are all supposed to forget him after five minutes in this new physical body. Then it turns out that supposedly even though his job is to keep the balance between good and evil that his presence is upsetting that balance.
Basicly this book makes the previous six seem pointless.
