Interesting take on bugging out—or in, since they’re already on a remote fishing cabin when the SHTF. Good detail on the main characters preps, logistics and survival knowledge. Also interesting interplay between characters without desperate, over the top drama. They all act like rational adults.
Stiff, slightly juvenile writing style. Kevin Pierce seems to have become the go-to reader for any and all prepper audiobooks!
And—I have to say—
SO SICK of these stories where Prepper just happens to find the smoking hot, slightly dumb naked chick. Riiiggggttt…. Also, at the end of the story said naked chick is pregnant. What woman would so forgetfully get pregnant in a TEOTWAWKI situation??? It illustrates her utter lack of caution and self-preservation in a newly dangerous world. Really getting tired of women portrayed as useless and clueless in prepper stories.
