Wooden characters, slow pacing, and very little in the way of realism. Here is some sample dialogue (paraphrased slightly) from 2 women who just took a shower:
Woman 1: You are a mudslide! (giggle)
Woman 2: Yea well you are a dirt avalanche! (giggle)
Aside from the poor dialogue, all of the characters are almost clones of each other. The reader could switch the names mid story, and I would not have noticed.
I would normally return a book this bad, but I accidentally listened to the whole thing.
