I liked the fact that at the end, there was some resolution to this story. I thought that the narrator was excellent. For the most part, the story was well written. The one aspect of the author’s work that I did not like was the inclusion, verbatim, of nearly every conversation between criminals, which consisted mostly of f-bombs. It wasn’t the cursing that bothered me. I get it, these guys are lowlife creeps, that’s how they express themselves, etc. But all those “F-this” and “F-that” and “F-you” comments take up too much space on the page and too much time during the narration. I wish the author had utilized some judicious editing or had summarized those lengthy, usually pointless conversations between the bad guys. Other than that, I did enjoy listening to Ice And Bone.
