This series is hilarious! The first person narrative has a witty, snarky personality that is impossible not to love. He, meaning Jace Stanford, is sarcastic at the right times, self-deprecating when he knows he deserves it, and a smart ass to the people who seem to deserve it. More than that, in this story Jace shows significant growth by the end. His character is developing into something far beyond what he thinks he is capable of.
Wehrlen continues to be a superb choice to narrate this series, as his voice really allows the sarcasm to drip, ooze, or explode as needed.
