- This is the 2nd book in the Family Pack series. It starts a year after the first book ended. Tommy, Corinne, Burt, Nina and company are back again with a few new allies and still trying to deal with the aftermath of all the trouble Uncle Carl has caused.
This installment is just as fun, enjoyable and entertaining as the first book was. This story doesn’t end in a cliffhanger but definitely leaves the door open for more installments. It’s hard enough raising a child as a single parent. When you daughter can turn into a wolf in an instant things are even more complicated. Then add in friends disappearing, wolf whisperer’s, Corinne being collared, Antiwolf’s devices, Uncle Carl and Tommy really has his hands full.
Trying to find answers has the group constantly moving from one situation to another. Antiwolf dot com is still operating and they have new “toys” in their arsenal to try out on Tommy and company. The story moves forward at a pretty good pace and you find out who and the reason behind much of what is going on.
The story again is narrated by Maxwell Zener. Really like the fact that they are staying with the same narrator and keeping the consistency of the character voices. He has a nice voice easy on the ears. Clearly spoken. Smooth even pace. His wolf voices are great.
Repeated line chapter 25 about a minute left in chapter.
