When I downloaded this book, I had no idea that it was the first in a series. Oh man, am I happy about that!!!

I loved this book from the opening sentence to the end!! The characters were flawed but fabulous. The mystery was fantastic with an ending that I thought I guessed, but not so much. And if that wasn’t enough, you are rewarded with these little vignettes, these little snippets of stories, that are not central to the plot but are woven in and let’s the listener peek into other people’s world–just like real life.

The narration was STELLAR!! One narrator doing male and female voices usually can do one well and not the other. That was not the case with this listen.

I’m so glad there is a book two to this story. I feel like I was given a gift I had not expected!!
