I don’t know if it’s because of the inexperience of the author or what, but this has been one of the most boring true crime books I’ve listened to. Nothing about it was particularly interesting. Also, this book had a tendency to repeat itself. Like, not just reminding you of information it had already told you, but literally copy and pasting information with even the exact same phrasing as in previous chapters. It was annoying. And there is a chapter just stuck in the middle that just goes off on a tangent telling stories about random other family members which isn’t relevant to anything. I didn’t enjoy this book, in fact, I didn’t even finish it. I got about 3/4 of the way through before I gave up.

The narration in this audiobook is good, but the story is poorly written, in my opinion.
